I stand corrected. They do make up a majority of the population. I just wanted to let him know that it·s completely normal. I actually have this link that I happend to find yesterday!! The book title: Three Keys to Self-Understanding you can google it to access the google pages and read it.(p.29 intro to myers briggs p.31 introversion vs extraversion.)  COMMENT REPLY.

I·m straight but fascinated with watching videos like this of people coming out.. I think it·s cause there is nothing in my own life I could drop on anyone like a bombshell so it·s nothing i·ll ever experience.. The closest would be that i·m an atheist but I make no secret of that. P.S. I suspect 90%+ of people who are the recipient of someone coming out to them already know it.. especially your roommate cause he probably never saw you dating any girls over the years, a good indicator.  COMMENT REPLY.

P.S. If I were gay I would approach coming out as more of a secondary, non-important thing.. because it shouldn·t change anything. you must have some feelings of shame and guilt about it because you expect everyone to react with horror. if you set about it like you·re about to tell them you have cancer, then of course it·s going to be a traumatic experience. Just be like "..Yeah I saw that movie over the weekend..oh by the way i·m gay. So, what are we having for dinner?"  COMMENT REPLY.

it SHOULD be that easy. It SHOULDNT change anything. but you spend years assuming that if anyone finds out, it will destroy your everything, so its not something you can do that lightly... at least not the first several times. alot of times its all in your head, and your real friends will be supportive and understanding. (like my case... sooo pissed at myself for not doing it sooner) i do know alot of people, though, who arent welcome at family events. so its still a gamble  COMMENT REPLY.

why does it feel sometimes bad to come out.. cos all of them know, that not everybody exapt and tolerate them.. and most want to be exaptet surely from the family but that is often the thing you are unsure off.. the time before you come out ,you listen, you watch everthing they do and try too find out how would they react. at the end, when all went god (you had the luck) it still has a bad tast, because you hade to come out... and heterosexual don t have to... best will be for the future- just to come home and bring your boyfriend or girlfreind home with you...  COMMENT REPLY.

the car thing was the EXACT same for me! it was even hard for me to say it out loud alone in my car.  COMMENT REPLY.
